Silent Earth features vividly saturated images arranged into grids that intentionally create “empty” spaces. Inspired by Alan Weisman’s "A World Without Us", the concept explores how nature would prevail in a world where humans have disappeared, only leaving traces behind. The use of unnatural colors in natural settings creates a surreal atmosphere that is mysterious: both serene and unsettling. The book is divided into three sections—Dawn, Day, and Dusk—with photographs taken at various locations identified through map coordinates. The dark-toned covers contrast with the warm beige inner pages, highlighting the seemingly desolate and cold world that, in reality, is slowly being reclaimed by nature; the warmth also gives off a dusty soft glow when paired the natural lighting and sun’s rays of many of the photos.
